Hornfest is our yearly event & tournament happening in the Airdrie / Calgary region Labour Day long weekend. It features various competitions like multi-tiered longsword, dueling sabre, spear, and cutting tournaments. Our tournament lead, Julian Schuetze, has over 10 years of tournament organizational experience including being the previous head organizer of CombatCon’s HEMA tournaments: one of the largest, most well known tournaments in the sport. Our team travels to a variety of tournaments every year, learning as much from the wider sword community, in order to help craft the best event we can.
